Our Pastor

Our PastorBorn and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Reverend Rodney Adam Lyde is a proud graduate of the New York City Public School System, the University of Rochester (where he received his Bachelor of Arts in History) and Princeton Theological Seminary (where he earned his Masters of Divinity). Since 2009, Rev. Rodney Adam Lyde has been serving as the Pastor of the Baptist Temple Church (in the Homewood neighborhood of Pittsburgh) and currently, he is the Chair of the Spiritual Leaders’ Caucus (SLC) of the Pennsylvania Interfaith Impact Network (PIIN). The aforementioned notwithstanding, Reverend Lyde is pleased to mention that he is happily married to Reverend Jacqueline Elisa Lyde and together they have two daughters - Jelisa Naomi and Jada Noelle. He is a twenty-five year member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated but of utmost importance is: He is saved and filled with the Holy Spirit; he is on fire for the Lord; he is dedicated to representing Jesus Christ to the fullest; he is ready, willing and able to serve the LORD; and he is the preacher of the hour.
